Overview
Shows an animated reminder on whatever page you're on when a meeting is about to start. Works with Google Calendar and Outlook.
Meeting Plane Reminder puts an easy-to-read banner on the page you're working on when a meeting is about to start, so you notice it without keeping your calendar open.
Add reminders by hand, or connect Google Calendar or Outlook and Microsoft 365. The banner shows the meeting title, time, a countdown, and where the meeting is happening, with buttons to join, snooze, or dismiss.

Privacy
Meeting Plane Reminder has no server of its own and no analytics, ads, or tracking. Your reminders, settings, and cached calendar events are stored in your browser. If you connect a calendar, the extension talks only to Google or Microsoft to read your events.
Permissions it asks Chrome for

- Saves reminders, settings, cached calendar events, and calendar connection details in your browser.
- alarms
- Shows each reminder at the time you chose.
- tabs
- Finds the page you're on so the reminder can appear there, and opens the meeting link when you choose Join.
- identity
- Lets you sign in to Google Calendar through Chrome.

- Reads events and account details from the Google or Microsoft calendar you connect.
- content script
- Draws the reminder banner on regular web pages, kept separate from the page's own code.
